Stopped in unplanned for an early dinner after a walk around Petworth. Great staff, could not have done more for us. Open fire, good homemade food in generous portions. Reasonably priced. I have never seen my kids eat so much!!! Absolute gem, we will be back!!!! xxx

Great to see the Masons back up and running. A warm welcoming atmosphere has been created along with a good range of beers and the addition of a quality Chef who is producing an innovative menu with some unusual items The ice cream range, all made on the premises, includes at the time of writing, tomato and balsamic vinegar!! For the less adventurous there are the old favourites. Well done anfmd keep up the good work.

Just popped in for Sunday lunch. What a lovely place! Fabulous roast dinner, home-made dessert and ice cream was soooo good! Such friendly and welcoming staff, relaxed atmosphere with nice background music. Dog friendly too. Can't wait to visit again next week!

Went last night and have to say it was a lovely pub. The service was very good and extremely friendly. The food was delicious and good size portions. Looking forward to going back again soon. I had the special chicken shish and it certainly was a big plateful, very tasty. Would definitely recommend

We went here for Sunday lunch. 2 roast beef, 1 roast chicken & 1 halloumi burger. All 4 meals were delicious, we all really enjoyed it even though we did struggle to eat all of our lunches. I had a side of cauliflower cheese & I’m happy to say it was probably the best I’ve ever eaten & there was enough for 2 of us. Service was good & the Staff were very friendly. We will definitely be going back.

This was a brilliant find - we originally was going to Petworth national trust house but it was so busy there we decided on this pub for lunch. The staff are very friendly- food was delicious 😋- toilets were clean. We sat in the beautiful pub garden It was such a good find we went back after for a drink after

What a great find! A lovely setting and wonderful food at very reasonable prices. We had heard rumours that it was a place to go and very glad that we did. Portions were more than ample and the quality of the meals (all four!) was exceptional. The staff were friendly and helpful - apparently it's a family-run business and it shows in their attention to detail. We'll be back.

We stopped here by chance after a day on the coast. I am a 50 something years old man. I have had countless roast dinners and this was on another whole new level. Best ever. Seriously. Food great. Drinks great. Service great. We will be back without a doubt.

My husband and I just had a lovely roast dinner here. Staff were so friendly and helpful, roast was very tasty and perfect in portion size. The dessert was also lovely. Would return as really nice atmosphere too.
